The Environment department suspends agricultural burning until April 29

For another year, coinciding with the celebration of Holy Week and Easter, and based on the Local Plan, the Department of the Environment has suspended agricultural burning from this Sunday, April 13th, until the 28th, with the possibility of resuming the activity on Tuesday the 29th, provided conditions permit. The Department has already informed those with valid burning permits of this circumstance.

On the other hand, given the traditional celebration of "Mona de Pascua," the Department has reminded the public of the prohibition of lighting fires outside authorized areas and in compliance with regulatory conditions; and has insisted on the obligation to remove all debris and trash generated in open-air public spaces.
