The Employment Workshop collaborates in tasks of attention to the public in the enrollment of the Children's Schools
The students of the Employment Workshop Benidorm V, are collaborating with the technicians of the Department of Education attending the citizens during the campaign of registration of the Municipal Infantile Schools for the course 2017-2018. The students of this workshop participate in a mixed program that combines training actions with the provision of services of public utility and social interest.
The Councilor for Employment, María Jesús Pinto, recalled that "the work that is done from the Agency for Employment and Local Development [AEDL] is visible in the different areas of municipal action" thus showing "the spirit of collaboration that must always prevail in the municipal activity ". Pinto said that the work carried out by the "student-workers" of the Employment Workshop "focuses on the Municipal Administrative Extensions during the campaign to access the municipal services specialized for early childhood care for next course."
The Employment Workshops form a mixed program that combines the training action with the realization of works and the provision of services of public utility or social interest. The purpose of this proposal of the AEDL is to facilitate the labor insertion of people in situation of unemployment of 25 years or more. In this edition, there are 10 students (9 women and a man) who carry out their activities in the Training Center for Employment 'Pepita Puchades' dependent on the Department of Employment of Benidorm City Hall.
The Benidorm V Employment Workshop started on 29 December and will end on the 28th of the same month of 2017. It is subsidized by Conselleria de Economía Sostenible, Productive Sectors, Trade and Labor with 214,963.60 euros, 86.3% of the budget; The rest, 29,500 euros, is a direct contribution of Benidorm City Hall. The participants sign a training and learning contract and receive 655.20 euros per month, the equivalent of SMI (Minimum Interprofessional Salary).
