The Employment Workshop and Red Cross organize a first aid course
The participating unemployed sign a contract and receive the equivalent of the Minimum Interprofessional Salary
The Benidorm V Employment Workshop of 'Auxiliary Operations of Administrative and General Services' which, throughout the year, occupies, prepares and prepares for the reinsertion of unemployed people in the city, carries out a first aid course, By Red Cross, which was attended by the head of the area of Employment and Local Development, María Jesús Pinto.
For the councillor, the training in first aid is "without doubt" a "supplementary training very useful for students". That is why it has been included in the realization of the Workshop "from a practical perspective" which is providing "very satisfactory results," as has been found "in contrasting the opinions of participants."
The Employment Workshop is a mixed theoretical and practical program that combines learning with the realization of works or the provision of services of public utility and social interest. It includes 10 people (9 women and 1 man), and the theoretical sessions are held in the Training Center for Employment 'Pepita Puchades'; The practices, in the municipal administrative extensions and some departments of the City council.
Benidorm V has been developing since December 29, 2016 and will end on December 28, 2017. Its budget is 214,963.60 euros: 185,463.60 by the Generalitat through the Servef and the rest -29,500 euros- contributed Directly by the City of Benidorm. By their participation, the attendees sign a contract for which they receive the equivalent to the Minimum Interprofessional Salary (SMI) established at 655.20 euros per month.
