EMCORP program to promote employment subsidized by LABORA ends
The 11 people hired by the City Council through EMCORP program, aimed at unemployed people over 30 years old and subsidized by LABORA, have already concluded their employment contract. During the six months that the program has lasted, five of these workers have served as second-rate officers, carrying out actions for the improvement of municipal spaces, among which is the leisure and entertainment park, the auditoriums of the park. Aswise, two other workers have performed the functions of attention and information to the citizen in the Jelena Social Center and Llorca Linares Social Center; while a technical architect and a civil engineer have performed their functions in the areas of Sports and Engineering, participating in projects such as the Ring Cycling or the design of road signs in avenues such as Europe, Ametlla del Mar, Severo Ochoa and of the installation of luminous bollards in El Cruce. In addition, two business graduates have served in the departments of Intervention and Treasury.
For the development of EMCORP the City Council of Benidom received a grant of 104,505.95 euros from the Valencian Employment and Training Service, LABORA. The EMCORP program is subsidized by LABORA, through funds from the SEPE (Public State Employment Service), thus favoring the access of unemployed people from the municipality of Benidorm to the labor market.
