The Election day starts in Benidorm without incident

Election day started this Sunday in Benidorm without incident and with rain. An electoral day in which the citizens are summoned to the polls to elect their representatives in the municipal corporation and Les Corts Valencianes. According to the first advance of participation transferred by the Ministry of the Interior, at 2:00 p.m., 33.80% of the 43,991 voters in Benidorm had exercised their right to vote, 3.77% more than in the 2019 municipal elections, when the percentage was 30.02%.

The subsequent participation data will be known at 6:00 p.m., two hours before the closing of the polling stations. From 8:00 p.m., counting will begin at the 79 polling stations in Benidorm, spread over 16 polling stations.

In Benidorm, 8 candidacies have been presented to the municipal elections.
