El Cover premieres in Mal Pas
El Cover premiered last night on Mal Pas beach in Benidorm and in 178 more cinemas throughout the country. After Malaga Festival, Secun de la Rosa's debut feature tells us the story of anonymous singers (hence the title) who show their talent by putting themselves in the shoes of established artists in the nightlife venues of the city in the capital of the Costa Blanca.
The film, produced by Kiko Martínez, has a stellar cast led by Álex Monner and Marina Salas, as well as Juan Diego, Susi Sánchez, Carmen Machi, Carolina Yuste, Lander Olaola, Jorge Calvo and María Hervás, among others.
The mayor, Toni Pérez, and a good part of the municipal corporation, together with representatives of the Benidorm society, wrapped up the actors and production team of the film who gathered in Benidorm for the premiere.
Before the screening, Kiko Martínez and Marina Salas welcomed the audience and the greetings of Secun de la Rosa and Álex Monner who, due to health reasons, could not attend the premiere, were seen. The mayor, Toni Pérez, also took the floor and praised the work done that has managed to overcome the interruption caused by the pandemic.
Starting today, El Cover begins its tour of movie theaters with a very good critical acceptance. Later it can be viewed on Amazon Prime platform.
