Education and Parent-Teacher Associations (AMPAs) are organizing a talk for parents and teachers with tips for improving children's critical thinking

Educación y las AMPAs organizan una charla para padres y docentes con claves para mejorar el pensamiento crítico de la infancia

The Marina Baixa Parent-Teacher Association (AMPAS) Federation, in collaboration with the Benidorm City Council's Department of Education, has scheduled its 9th Educational Conference for June 2nd. This event is held regularly and is aimed at mothers, fathers, family members, professionals, and teachers. The conference aims to offer guidelines for improving children's education and academic performance.

The Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, explained that "on this occasion, the conference will be given by psychologist, writer, and consultant Tomás Navarro, and is entitled '10 things you can do to improve your children's and students' critical thinking,' so we believe it will be of great interest."

This event will take place on Monday, June 2nd at 6:00 p.m., in the Auditorium of the José Llorca Linares Social Centre, with free admission until capacity is reached. Those interested should register by emailing fampaformacion@gmail.com before May 28th, providing their full name, ID number, and the school where their children attend, or if they are attending as a professional.

The Marina Baixa FAMPA emphasises that places are limited, and priority will be given to those who provide their family number associated with any AMPAs operating in all Benidorm schools. Councillor Maite Moreno recalled that Benidorm City Council "collaborates annually with the Regional Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations of Benidorm and the Region, FAMPA Marina Baixa, with a contribution of 23,000 euros for the organisation of training activities for parents of children and adolescents studying in our town", a collaboration that "allows the development of workshops and talks year after year aimed at improving the skills of parents to help their children with their academic performance and other aspects related to their education", she added.
