DTI Network holds its plenary session within the framework of Digital Tourist 2020 in Benidorm
Coinciding with the celebration of the Digital Tourist congress in Benidorm, the Plenary Commission of the DTI Network has met today telematically in a session chaired by the Minister of Tourism, Reyes Maroto, and in which the mayor, among others, has participated. Toni Pérez, the Secretary of State for Tourism, the president of Segittur, Enrique Martínez, and the Secretary General of the FEMP. The meeting of this Plenary Committee, in which more than 160 destinations have taken part, is integrated into the Digital Tourist program, which for two days addresses technological solutions for tourist recovery in Benidorm.
The mayor recalled that Benidorm "was part of the promoter-founder group" of this DTI Network, promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism, now occupying one of the Members of the Executive Committee.
At today's meeting, the Plenary Committee approved the incorporation of 19 members, seven institutional members and 12 collaborators. In addition, the Regulation of the Network itself has been given the green light.
Among the objectives of the DTI Network are to make tools available to destinations to face the challenges and challenges posed by their digital transformation, and to achieve more sustainable management at all levels. All this, based on the axes of innovation, sustainability, technology, accessibility and governance.
