The Department of Youth expands the number of places of the Ski Campaign 2017
150 young people can register to enjoy the Andorran stations of Vallnord and Grandvalira and another trip has been programmed
Ana Pellicer, councilor for Youth, has presented the Ski Campaign 2017 that proposes three trips to Andorra to enjoy the white sport. The councilwoman, who was accompanied by the coordinator of th Youth department José Romeu, reported that the first of them will be held between 22 and 27 January, in Vallnord. The second will be between the 5th and 10th of February, and the third between the 26th of the same month and the 3rd of March. Both to Grandvalira, the largest ski area in the Pyrenees. In each of these trips can participate 50 young people, 150 in total. Pellicer justified the increase in the offer this year because "our young people are very encouraged to make this trip," among other things for the quality of the destination and facilities and because "price is good." José Romeu added that it is intended to avoid the situation of previous campaigns in which there were "young people who stayed on a waiting list" without being able to access the offer. The youth proposal "includes everything to enjoy a week of authentic snow," said Pellicer. The trip to Vallnord has a price of 470 euros and Grandvalira, 490. They include high-speed bus transfer, accommodation in a four-star hotel and double room, full board, five-day ski pass for the whole ski area, The rental of alpine material, two hours of classes a day and insurance. You can apply discounts of 30 euros per person, if you opt for triple rooms and 20, if you use your own sports equipment. In case you wish to practice snowboarding, the material and classes will have a surcharge of 25 euros. The departure of the three trips will be at 07.30 hours, on Avenida de Jaime I, next to the gas station.
