The initiative, coordinated by the Association of Dance Professionals, has the participation of 12 municipalities in the Region
The dance schools of Benidorm will hold the 'Flashmob' on Monday for the International Dance Day that was suspended due to the rain
This Monday, May 6, Benidorm dance schools and academies will hold the original 'Flashmob' cancelled last Monday due to the rain. This performance is done to commemorate International Dance Day and for that reason, the Association of Dance Professionals of the Valencian Community, in collaboration with the Department of Culture of the Benidorm City Council and the participation of local schools, have organized this 'Flashmob' expressly created for this day but has been moved to next Monday.
The performance, to which everyone who wants to attend is invited, will take place at 6 p.m. in the Plaza de SS. MM. los Reyes de España. The dancers from the associated schools that will participate are Paqui Mora Dance School, Pilar Segura Dance Academy, María José Moya Dance Studio and Lope de Vega Dance School, with its teacher Daniela Arnoldo.
The International Dance Day seeks to promote dance as an art, raise awareness about the importance of dance in society and encourage governments, organizations and individuals to support the art of dance.
The event takes place in twelve municipalities of the Community, specifically in Valencia, Ontinyent, Foios, Mutxamel, Tavernes de la Valldigna, L'Alfàs del Pi, Alcoi, Vall d'Uixó, Guardamar del Segura, San Vicente del Raspeig, Elx and Benidorm.
