Great party night at Julio Iglesias
Culture and Equality sponsor a «female lyrical» circus show for the little ones
Julio Iglesias Auditorium in Parque de la Aigüera has been the meeting point for the afternoon and evening activities of Festes Majors Patronals in Benidorm. First thing in the morning, theater with the Department of Culture and Equality. In the afternoon, parades. At night, party by Associació de Penyes ‘Verge del Sofratge’.
At 5:00 p.m. and sponsored by the Department of Culture and Equality, the company La Troupe Malabó from Castellón has staged 'Sophie', a circus show, defined by its authors as "lyrical in feminine, infantile and family terms", in which the actresses Marisa Ibáñez, Silvia Queralt and Jara Franch, under the co-direction of Claudia Zucheratto and Sergio Chavez, have represented the experiences of three different women using the universal language of music and the character of a clown that mixes the stories of the protagonists.
The councilors of Culture and Equality, Jaime Jesús Pérez and Ángela Zaragozí have been able to greet the artistic team shortly before the representation and have shared the details of the security protocol so that the public can enjoy the shows with the maximum guarantee, especially in the afternoon of today with an eminently youthful and infantile public.
After the end of the show, a parade toured the center of Benidorm, giving time to the municipal workers to prepare the auditorium for the great night of party organized by Associació de Penyes ‘Verge del Sofratge’.
The Clubs heal the wound
It can be said that the thorn that remained stuck in Associació de Penyes 'Verge del Sofratge' after the suspension of 'Dia de les Penyes party', on October 30 because of the rain, has disappeared and the wound is fully healed. Medicine? The Tallarina on Tour concert, led by DJ Santi Bertomeu, sponsored by the entity chaired by Adrián Romero.
With the night, the current and commercial music sounded in Julio Iglesias, and with it the total party. Actors giving life to iconic characters of the youth, with the complicity of the attendees, have created a great improvisational performance based on games, live haircuts, contests, t-shirts, confetti and merengue! But not to dance, but to eat. And, above all, we must insist, the dance hits of the moment.
Today Wednesday, despite being a working day, Festes Majors Patronals 2021 will celebrate its last chapter that will reach its peak with the parade of floats and the subsequent fireworks display that will put an end to the great days of Benidorm.
