The next performance will take place on April 27 with the play 'Hamlet', by Tossal Teatre company
The Cultural Center once again registers a full house with 'Las gracias mohosas', the second play by Amateur Theater Show
The Cultural Center of Benidorm returned to reap a full house yesterday with the representation of the work by Alpi Teatre, 'Las gracias mohosas', a work by Feliciana Enríquez de Guzmán, directed by Ricardo Molina, which drew applause from all those present in the auditorium.
The play was about three sisters, each more horrendous, who died of love for four buffoons who will dispute their love through glosses, fights, and tournaments before their father. It narrates the courtship process with a tournament of blows and verses included; a grotesque, irreverent, but original and fun carnival.
The work is part of the project carried out by the Woman's Legacy platform in collaboration with other countries to recover the work of forgotten women. In this performance, whose author is a contemporary of great classical authors such as Lope de Vega or Calderón de la Barca, a staging is presented that enhances the author's modernity and offers a different perspective of what we have always understood as classical theater.
The next performance of the Amateur Theater Show will take place on Thursday, April 27 at 8:00 p.m. also at the Cultural Center where Tossal Teatre will perform 'Hamlet' by William Shakespeare.
