With the 'Crida', (announcement), the fallas of Benidorm return to the streets

Gambo street was, once again, the meeting point of Benidorm's fallas with its neighbours and visitors. Hundreds of people gathered there to witness the 'Crida', the announcement of the beginning of the Josephine festivities.

Around 5:15 p.m., the three commissions of Benidorm: El Rincón, Els Tolls and Falla Centro, brought together on Paseo de Levante, near  Europa Avenue, to participate in a parade towards the centre of the city until Gambo street where the whole town was invited participate and live the party.

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the councillor of Fiestas, Jesús Carrobles, and other members of the Municipal Corporation supported the president of the Fallera Local Board, José Alcántara and the falleras Verónica Perulero (Rincón de Loix), and Sonia Ferré and Valeria del Sufragio Sánchez (the Falla Center), on the return of the fallera activity to the city after the parenthesis caused by the pandemic.

Toni Pérez addressed the three commissions to thank them for having known how to preserve "the flame of the festivity" during "the difficult times" and all those present to encourage them to participate in one of the most popular parties in Benidorm, which is another attraction of its tourist and cultural offer.
