The Consorci Mare mobile ecopark arrives in Benidorm on April 18 and 25

The Consorci Mare mobile eco-park will be in Benidorm on April 18 and 25. The vehicle will be located at the junction of Foietes Avenue and Serrano Street from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The eco-park is a centre specialized in the collection, selection and recovery of waste generated in homes that cannot be disposed of in any of the traditional collection containers found in the municipalities. The mobile eco-park, if applicable, is a vehicle prepared for depositing certain waste such as used cooking oil and automotive oil, button and electric batteries, x-rays, small electronic devices, small toxic containers, ink cartridges, light bulbs, and fluorescent lights. , etc. The Consorci Mare manages the waste of 52 municipalities.

The Consorci Mare network is also the only one in the Valencian Community with a specific module for bulky belongings. It also has computerized mobile eco-parks hence the importance of registering in the system because, as explained by the Councilor for the Environment, Mónica Gómez, this entails some advantages such as “knowing at all times what has been recycled in the network, having access to prizes or benefits for recycling or helping to take care of the environment.”

In addition to the Consorci Mare mobile eco-park, Benidorm also has a mobile eco-park that every day of the week, from Monday to Friday and at different times, and is located at various points in the city to collect this type of waste that will be stored, treated and recycled or disposed of in environmentally safe conditions. The service "facilitates Benidorm's citizens who do not have a vehicle or time to access the main Ecopark, the proper management of their waste."
