Commissio de Festes Majors Patronals publishes a comic about Torre de les Caletes

The work is presented this Saturday in the Town Hall and will be sold during the weekend at Fira d'Octubre

The Commissio de Festes Majors Patronals has published a comic book about Torre de les Caletes, the 16th century watchtower located at Punta del Cavall, declared a Property of Cultural Interest (BIC), and whose restoration and study, together with the consolidation of the cliff, are currently investing 350,000 euros by the Ministry of Environment.

The comic book, entitled 'La Torre de les Caletes', is a work by Jaume Fuster and Joan Fuster and is presented this Saturday, October 7, at 10.15 am in the Hall of Acts of the City Hall with the presence of the authors and also the Queens and their court of honor of the Festes Majors Patronals.

After this presentation, with the collaboration of the Department of Culture and Historic Heritage, 'La Torre de les Caletes' will be on sale at 9th of October Fira organized by the Commission and will run from Saturday to Monday in the streets Gambo and Martínez Alejos.
