Commerce announces the XXVIII edition of the Christmas Window Dressing Contest, aimed at establishments registered in # BenidormTeDaMás

The Department of Commerce of Benidorm City Council has already published the bases of the XXVIII edition of the Christmas Window Dressing Contest, which is aimed at all commercial establishments, bars, restaurants, cafes and service companies with a bussiness license in Benidorm. To participate they must be registered in # BenidormTeDaMás campaign.
The registration period, which is now open, will end on December 23 and participants must upload images of the finished decoration before that date to the municipal social networks with the tag # BenidormTeDaMás

As in previous years, different categories will be created depending on the type of activity. Thus, there will be a first prize of 2,000 euros and a diploma, a second prize of 1,000 euros and a diploma and a third prize of 500 euros and a diploma. The categories will be the following: Commercial establishments and service companies, hotel establishments and tourist apartments.

The window dressing proposal will have free criteria, always taking into account the reason for the call: Christmas. Participants will not be able to repeat shop windows from previous editions. The decoration that will be evaluated by the jury will be the one that is made in the shop window or facade of the establishment in all categories and it must be kept on display until January 6 inclusive.

The qualifying jury will be appointed by the Department of Commerce and will be made up of members of the municipality's business associations. Once configured, the jury will make a pre-selection by viewing the submitted photographs and the 30 semi-finalists who will later receive a visit at their establishment from the members of the jury will be chosen for the final ‘on-site’ assessment. The awards ceremony will take place in the establishments themselves on December 29.
