This morning has been closed at Palau d'Esports l'Illa de Benidorm the Summer School 'Inclúyenos 2016' , in a ceremony attended by the councillors of Social Welfare, Angela Llorca and Sports, Ana Pellicer, along with other members of the municipal corporation and 12 autistic children, from Benidorm and the region who came accompanied by their parents.
This Summer School meets the needs of a group that requires a special and professional care. Thanks to an agreement signed by Benidorm City Council, the NGO Inclúyenos and Obra Social La Caixa, which covers much of the cost so that families with autistic children can give them the care they deserve and in the most appropriate environment.
During the months of July and August at Palau d'Esports these children have made recreational sports activities (gymnastics, swimming, group games, etc.). They have been able to reinforce learning and sociability, always accompanied by expert personnel monitors with a ratio of 1 or 2 children. With the delivery of a bag with gifts and a snack in the cafeteria, children have said goodbye until the next edition of the Summer School Inclúyenos.
