The corporation honors those who turn 25 years of service or retire and remembers recently deceased
The Town Hall of Benidorm has celebrated today the festivity of Santa Rita de Casia, patroness of the local administration with an act in the plenary hall. The mayor, Toni Pérez, the Councilor for Human Resources, Jesús Carrobles, and members of the different municipal groups, have recognized the work of the collective of public workers, delivering to those who have completed their first 25 years of service a commemorative gift and also those who have retired during the last year. A commemorative plaque has also been handed out to relatives of members of the municipal staff who died during the year.
Toni Pérez has addressed the audience to reflect on the city and the model of Benidorm that is facing the future. About the City Council has said that it is the "first company of Benidorm" and regarding the celebration of this day, which is "the day the company recognizes the people who are part of it." A holiday that serves "to load the batteries" because the neighbors "wait for us" so that we can offer them "the maximum satisfaction in the provision of our service".
Pérez has wished the workers who have reached retirement who have "a long life to enjoy" it and has made a special reference to "sad memory to the four friends" who are no longer among us.
The events commemorating the day of the officials have continued with an official meal attended by members of the corporation and officials.
