The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, and the councilor of Sports, Arturo Cabrillo, have received this morning at the City Hall the Chinese National Team of Football Beach, which these days is in our city doing its winter stage, under the orders of the Spanish coach Ramiro Amarelle.
The Chinese team has been exercising since last weekend in the sports area of Poniente Beach to prepare the next competitions.
Ramiro Amarelle, Spanish international and the greatest world exponent of football beach in history, directs the red dragons in morning and afternoon sessions in the fine sand of one of the most emblematic areas of the city.
They have joined the collaboration of local player, Jorge Garcia, who is being guided both in the participation of friendly matches, as in the teaching of culture, cuisine and visit the main points of the city.
The Chinese Football Beach Team is the team that represents the country in the FIFA Football Beach World Cup, in the AFC Football Beach Championship and in the Asian Beach Games; and is controlled by the Chinese Football Association.
The reception was also attended by Llorenç Gómez León, captain of the Spanish National Team and recently declared the Best World Player of Football Beach Soccer.
