La Biblioteca Central acoge la presentación de un cuento infantil sobre la inclusión y la diversidad

The Central Library of Benidorm has hosted the presentation of the book 'Aerbetito, the affectionate bear', a children's story that aims to educate children and adolescents in values such as diversity, inclusion and respect and to help combat bullying in schools. classrooms. The author of this story is Juan Miguel Martínez Bueno, the president of the Association of People with Rare Diseases of Benidorm and Region, AERBECO, who during the presentation of the work explained that as a child he suffered firsthand the effects of being 'different' and that experience is what has now led him to tell this story.

The book, which is already on sale, tells the story of two friends, a bear with a disability and a deer with part of its antlers missing, who at school are the object of ridicule by their classmates and how The centre acts to resolve this conflict. Something that, according to Juan Miguel Martínez, “could be happening in any educational centre today.”

For this reason, the author advanced his intention of being able to personally present the work in schools and institutes both in Benidorm and the region, so that the message of the story can reach the largest number of children and adolescents possible.

The Councilor for Social Welfare of Benidorm City Council, Ángela Zaragozí, participated in the presentation of this story along with other members of the municipal Corporation, who also wanted to support Martínez Bueno.
