The Castle, El Tossal and the façade of the Town Hall will light up red as a sign of support for the fight against AIDS

30 November 2020
El Castell, el Tossal i la façana de l'Ajuntament s'il·luminaran de roig en senyal de suport a la lluita contra la SIDA...

The façade of Benidorm City Council will show this Tuesday, December 1, a large loop of red light on a background of white light to give visibility to the fight against AIDS, precisely on the day that this fight is commemorated internationally. In the same way, the Castle ofBenidorm and the Tossal in La Cala will light up in red, thus adding to the commemorative banner installed on the balcony of the Town Hall.

The situation caused by Covid-19 will prevent the usual rally that has been held every year on Gambo Street to read the manifesto of the fight against AIDS, which was attended by representatives of the municipal corporation and from different social and business associations. For this reason, the Department of Health has wanted to give maximum visibility to the still active fight against AIDS by illuminating three emblematic enclaves of Benidorm in red.
