The Department of Employment and Local Promotion gives 60,000 euros to these subsidies, which provides for a maximum amount of aid of 7,000 euros per entity

Business or entrepreneurial entities can now request municipal grant for administrative personnel expenses

The non-profit business and / or entrepreneurial entities of Benidorm can request from today the municipal subsidies aimed at helping to defray the expenses of the administrative and management personnel they have hired. The Councilor for Employment and Local Development, Mónica Gómez, has reported that “after the publication yesterday of the bases of these grants in the Official Gazette of the Province (BOP), the entities have a period of 20 working days to participate in this announcement".

Gómez recalled that “for the second consecutive time, the City Council announces these grants with which it is intended to promote the maintenance of jobs generated by non-profit business entities in Benidorm; a priority objective especially in the current circumstances caused by the Covid-19 crisis ”.

The councilor explained that "associations and entities whose activities are carried out within the municipality, which have operational headquarters in the city and which develop programs of general interest for companies and entrepreneurs, can apply for this aid." The City Council has reserved 60,000 euros for these grants. The maximum amount will be 7,000 euros per entity, and its destination is to meet the expenses of its own personnel who are in charge of the administrative and management functions of the association.

Both the bases of the aid and the application model for the application and the rest of the annexes are available in the Employment and Local Development area of the City Council website, www.benidorm.org.

Once the submission deadline is closed, a municipal technical commission will assess and evaluate the applications and resolve these grants, which last year were awarded to six entities for a total amount of 42,000 euros.
