8 designers, selected from 406, will compete for the National Beachwear Fashion Award 2022
Madrid International Fashion Show, NOMAD, has once again been the setting where the group of finalists for the National Beachwear Fashion Award 'New Fashion Talents of Spain 2022' has been announced.
Among the 406 registered designers, the committee evaluated 67 collections and more than 750 designs. The Technical Director of the contest, Juan Enrique Tribaldos, pointed out and thanked the collaboration of more than 170 design schools in this call. Juan Matea, the organizer of the National Award, Mediterranean Fashion Beach, confirmed the dates of this fifth edition - from June 9 to 12 - and the news. A catwalk of emerging brands and soon fashion is created, which will be held on Friday, June 10, and a new award, the Atlante Award, sponsored by the Biscayan designer Manuel de Gotor, will award a male garment from the collections in the competition.
The 2022 National Beachwear Fashion Award Catwalk will be held on Saturday, June 11 and will complete the week, together with the collection of the winner of the 2021 edition Mary Barcelona, a special catwalk in tribute to the bikini within the annual activity of its 75th Anniversary. Shortly the agenda of activities and the calendar of presentations of this fifth edition will be completed.
The designers who will compete with their proposals for the National Beachwear Fashion Award 2022 are: Anahí Denaví Expósito, Ángela Martí Pérez, Esther Becerra Uriel, Eva Valbuena García, María Teresa Sánchez Barbero, Marina Carpio Ortega. Marina Tiscar Tortajada and Marta Capdevila Tugues.
