The offer is aimed at job seekers with a university degree
Benidorm will hire two technicians for at least one year to attract and manage European funds
LABORA co-finances this contract and will be responsible for the selection of personnel
Benidorm City Council is going to hire technical personnel for at least one year to attract and manage European funds, according to what the Councilor for Employment, Mónica Gómez, advanced today.
Specifically, and based on population criteria, "we will be able to incorporate two people who will reinforce the City Council's technical teams that work so that Benidorm obtains European subsidies to develop improvement projects for the city." This contract is co-financed by LABORA.
Gómez has pointed out that "in recent years, the Benidorm City Council has obtained very important financing from European funds for programs such as the EDUSI - Sustainable and Integrative Urban Development Strategy -, the Tourism Sustainability Plan or the energy sustainability projects supported by the IDAE –Institute for the Diversification and Saving of Energy-“.
"Now -he added- the Next Generation Funds have multiplied the calls and with it the opportunities for municipalities to obtain European funding and Benidorm has to have the capacity to continue presenting itself to the maximum possible number of calls and do so with the greatest chances of success. . That is why it is important to be able to have more personnel dedicated to this task of attracting and managing European funds”.
The councillor explained that "these two places are aimed at people with a university degree who are registered as job seekers at LABORA and who can prove they have at least a B1 level of English or French." Gómez has clarified that "both the requirements and the evaluation and selection process have been defined by LABORA, which will be in charge of choosing the person who will occupy these jobs".
Gómez has informed that interested people can sign up for the job offer that will be published in the coming days on the GVA Jobs portal (https://labora.gva.es/es/gvajobs). The councillor has encouraged "the population that meets the requirements of the job to participate in this call."
