Benidorm will continue to support AVIBE with training and offers its technological 'hubs'
The Association of Travel Agencies of Benidorm held its General Assembly this morning in which the board chaired by Juan José Pérez Parker rendered accounts of the management and the promotional courses and campaigns developed in the last year. The electoral assembly, which will elect a new Board of Directors, has been postponed to next month.
In the balance presented, Pérez Parker indicated the objective achieved to make a region and has highlighted the collaboration with Visit Benidorm. In it, he denounced the lack of inspectors in the sector and the need for trained personnel to attend the services. They have also positioned themselves against the Tourist Tax.
On behalf of the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, the Councilor for Innovation, Aida García Mayor, highlighted the "recognition for the work and effort that the president and his board of directors have been developing, especially in recent times" and encouraged “continue working on training”, training towards the future and strengthening collaboration.
García Mayor reaffirmed, "the commitment of Benidorm City Council to always be next to the productive fabric through direct support lines" and highlighted "AVIBE's singular effort at this stage where digitalization and New Technologies are decisive".
As Councilor for Innovation, he pointed out that "it is essential to have the correct dose of technological skills and professionalism in your agencies because technology allows greater personalization and offers us new possibilities", recalling that "people are and will continue to be at the center of the tourist experience”.
Finally, the councilor confirmed "the support of the Benidorm City Council and its technological 'hubs'" stressing that "subsidies and training will not be lacking, because, in this adventure of winning the future daily and promoting Benidorm brand, we go hand in hand".
