Next week the Vichy Catalan Beach Volley Tour will arrive with 250 participants between amateurs and professionals

Poniente Beach in Benidorm will become this weekend the epicenter of the best beach volleyball in Spain with the celebration on Saturday of the regional final in the children's category and the participation of some 220 athletes from all over the Valencian Community.

The test was presented this morning by the Councilor for Sports, Javier Jordá, along with Arturo Ruiz, president of the Valencian Beach Volleyball Federation, Nuria Plá, sports director of the federation, and Raúl Mesa, president of C.V Playa from Westeros.

In this competition, the councillor indicated, "The teams that will participate in the Spanish Championship will be decided." It is organized by the Valencian Federation, the C.V. Playa de Poniente, and the collaboration of the Department of Sports.

In addition, Javier Jordá advanced that the following weekend, July 22 and 23, Vichy Catalan Beach Volley Tour will arrive in Benidorm, which consists of sub-21 events, amateur modalities for all levels and also professionals, which will bring together the best couples in Spain and a total of about 250 athletes.

This circuit, in which players like Raúl Mesa compete, stands out for its international character, as it has athletes from countries such as Venezuela, Argentina, Brazil, Francis, Germany, the Czech Republic, and Cape Verde. The competition is also scoring for the national ranking.

The president of the Federation, Arturo Ruiz, highlighted in his speech that "Benidorm is a benchmark in beach volleyball, as is Raúl Mesa". Ruiz invited "everyone to come and witness this great spectacle that combines sport and tourism on the beach."

Nuria Pla, for her part, emphasized that "this test will decide the regional championship, which is the one that gives way to the Spanish championship." About the test for the following weekend, Pla insisted on "the enormous level that will reach Benidorm and we hope that people can enjoy it".

Lastly, Raúl Mesa highlighted the "good synergy" between his club and the City Council "that allows us to make this competition possible" and he hoped "it will continue to be that way for many years".
