Benidorm welcomes one more year to the best professionals of Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba
In eleven days, Benidorm Summer Festival will bring together about 12,000 people between the BKC Congress and the Salsa Congress
From 6 to 16 July, the city will bring together once again the best national and international professional couples from Salsa, Bachata and Kizomba in a new edition of Benidorm Summer Festival. A festival that will take place one more year in Gran Hotel Bali and that today has been presented by the Councilor of Events, José Ramón González de Zárate and one of its organizers, Christopher Gómez.
De Zárate has highlighted that Benidorm Summer Festival "is a fully consolidated event" in the city and attracts thousands of lovers of Latin music and dances, and in addition to enjoying the activities of the festival, they take advantage of their stay " enjoying the beaches, walking the city and visiting our bars, cafes and shops.
The organization expects "an average of one thousand people" in each day of the Summer Festival, although the influx will be higher during the weekends. Thus, said Gómez, it is estimated that among the eleven sessions can reach the 12,000 attendees between participants and spectators, while noting that although some of the attendees remain in Benidorm "three or four days," the majority prolongs their stay "more than a week". It is estimated that the average daily cost in the city per attendee is 100 euros.
The promoter explained that Benidorm Summer Festival is divided into two events. The first is the BKC Congress, which will take place from July 6 to 12, and is aimed at Bachata, Kizomba and this year also Cuban dances. The second event is Benidorm Salsa Congress, which is already adding ten editions, which will start on July 10, and which "is considered the strongest event in Europe and one of the most important in the world" for "artistic quality "And" for live music ".
Specifically, in the section of orchestras, on Thursday July 13 there is a concert of the Candela Salsa Orchestra of Tenerife. The next day will be the turn of Tromboranga Salsa Orchestra, a band based in Barcelona and currently touring the United States.
Gómez has also insisted on the quality of the "first level artists" who will be at the festival and who will offer master classes to expert dancers and also to amateurs. Among these professionals will be Sara López, Daniel & Desireé, Korke & Judith, Nuno & Nagyla, Seo Fernández & Marta, Erick & Monika, Luis Vázquez, Tito & Tamara and Eddie Torres & Chiara.
The organizer of the Summer Festival, recalled that "anyone who lives in Benidorm or passes by the place can enjoy the event.
