Benidorm Tourism Foundation participates this week at the ITB fair in Berlin, one of the most important trade fairs in the world of tourism and travel sector, held from 8 to 12 March at the Messe fairgrounds in Berlin .
Benidorm will be represented in the stand of the Valencian Community and in the LGBT area leading the most prominent gay offer in the Valencian Community with the promotion of the city, and the events Pink Weekend and Benidorm Pride.
Visit Benidorm has come to the fair with the intention of showing all the most gayfriendly offer of Benidorm in a market that occupies the fourth position among the countries that send tourists to the Community and that during 2016 grew 2.3% with respect to the previous year, in order to position the segment and thus penetrate the German LGBT market characterized by its high purchasing power.
This fair focused on professionals and the general public in its latest editions has brought together tourist destinations in 180 countries with an exhibition space of 160,000 square meters, more than 10,600 exhibiting companies and 114,000 professionals. The significance of the fair is at the same level as international appointments like FITUR (Madrid) and WTM (London).
During the days for professionals, Visit Benidorm will take advantage of meetings with specific TT.OO as well as bloggers and influencers in order to establish contacts for future blogtrips and press trips.
