Benidorm is still betting on the Italian tourist

07 May 2019
Benidorm sigue apostando por el turista italiano

Benidorm Tourism Foundation participates this week and for the third consecutive year in the Roadshow of Italy, representing Benidorm destination and the hand of the Spanish Tourist Offices of Rome and Milan and the Costa Blanca Board.

In this Roadshow that consists of an itinerant action for a geographical area, four workshops will be held through which Visit Benidorm will hold meetings with travel agencies in the area in order to know the possibilities that the capital of the Coast Blanca can offer them.

This edition will visit other cities than those of last year such as Bari, Naples, Milan and Genoa to make known all the city's offer. It is a meeting with the objective of promoting the commercialization of Benidorm's product framed in Spain in the Italian market.

In 2018 the cities visited were Rome, Florence, Verona and Turin with a positive evaluation the participation in these workshops due to the good influx of participants, especially in the northern cities of the country. Many of them were unaware of all the possibilities offered by Benidorm for their clients and were interested in knowing them thoroughly.

With this action Benidorm reaffirms its commitment to position itself in an emerging market such as the Italian, which increasingly has more air facilities to reach the Costa Blanca, having in 2019 direct connections to Alicante airport from cities that have a large volume of population as they are; Rome, Milan, Bologna and Venice.
