This weekend Benidorm Tourism Foundation has participated in the Argus Bike Festival of Vienna, Austria, an event celebrated since 1992 under the name of "Days of the Bike".
Invited by the Spanish Tourism Office in Vienna, Visit Benidorm has not wanted to pass this promotional opportunity to the final public. Reaffirming in this way its commitment to the positioning not only of bicycle tourism in Benidorm but also everything related to outdoor activities, active tourism and adventure tourism, such as hiking, diving and water sports. Without neglecting the complementary offer as well as the specialized lodging of first category and under the seal "bikefriendly"
According to the organizers of the event, the Argus Bike Festival has become not only the largest open air cycling event in Austria but also in Europe. More than 100,000 people have gathered this first weekend of April at the Argus Bike Festival, in which Benidorm has shared stand under the umbrella of tourspain with other destinations such as Menorca and Visit Calviá (Mallorca).
Finally, and in the same way as in previous cycling events, the official channels of @VisitBenidorm of Wikiloc and Strava have been promoted again, where in addition they have recently added 10 new hiking trails and nordic walking to the Wikiloc App. It should be noted that last March, more than 60,000 users visited and interacted on the VisitBenidorm channel in wikiloc.
