The ravines of Benidorm are ready for the possible arrival of torrential rains, after the cleanup of the channels made by the concessionaire of water, Hidraqua, and Technical Services of the City Hall, as reported by the councillor for Water and Environment José Ramón González de Zárate. The councillor explained that during the months of July and August water concessionaire "has checked the ravines". Thus, "we proceeded to clean litter boxes and sections with dirty, with particular emphasis on the areas closest to the coast." Specifically, Hidraqua has acted in channelized sections of the ravines of Barceló, Derramador, LAigüera, Foietes, Xixo, Rajarell, El Murtal and Vela Blanca. Meanwhile, the Technical Services have cleared the open sections of these ravines, following the instructions contained in the report prepared by the Rural Local Police. Zárate noted that after the cleaning and revision, the local police "reported favorably" about the state of the ravines. "All of them are in perfect condition and ready to receive the rains that could reach us in the coming weeks.
