In this case, it is called ‘Identities’ by Gema Martínez and Rosario Tur as speakers and by Marisa Blanes and María Eugenia Palomares who will play the piano four hands. Zaragozí has explained that its protagonists will reveal “the legacy of great women of music, science and society and how they managed to stand out in their respective disciplines despite the difficulties of being a woman in the time in which they lived, in an example of resilience and female talent”.

On Friday, March 7, there will also be a double program. In the morning, at noon, the commemorative banner for International Women's Day will be placed at Benidorm City Hall. In the afternoon there will be a bus to attend the XXIV Meeting of Women of the Marina Baixa, which this year is in Polop. The councillor has said that the organisation “has reserved 50 places for Benidorm so that women interested in participating must register at ‘Jelena’ Social Centre”.

On Saturday 8 March, Anémona will once again organise the traditional Women’s Luncheon, which will take place at Club Náutico restaurant. Tickets must be purchased at Anémona headquarters.

Finally, on Sunday 9th at 7 pm, the play ‘Las couchers. Charlas de azucarillo’ will be performed, within the Culture for Equality programme.

The play will take place in the auditorium of the Cultural Centre and to attend it is necessary to pick up the invitations at ‘Jelena’ Social Centre on the 6th and 7th.

“We are going to dedicate an entire week to this anniversary, with all kinds of activities and a complete programme”, said the Councillor for Equality during the presentation of these events.
