The City Council is processing six scholarships for students in the city

The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has attended today the opening of the third edition of the Master of Rice and Mediterranean Haute Cuisine of the University of Alicante (UA), with which the City Council collaborates for another year since its commitment to training and which materializes in the awarding of 6 scholarships for students in the city who have enrolled in the master. Scholarships that are already being processed, as confirmed by the mayor at the end of the opening ceremony, which was held in the Assembly Hall of Germán Bernácer building in Sant Vicent del Raspeig campus and which, among others, the Regional Secretary for Tourism, Francesc Colomer, and the Rector of the UA, Manuel Palomar.

The director of Dársena restaurant, Cristina De Juan, has been in charge of offering the inaugural conference of a master's degree that this edition is taught in a blended way and that is part of the UA's own study programs.

In this third edition, many of the most qualified chefs awarded with all kinds of distinctions will contribute their experience and knowledge, such as: Quique Dacosta (Quique Dacosta restaurant-Dénia), Kiko Moya (L'Escaleta Cocentaina), Alberto Ferrúz (Bon- Amb Xàbia), Susi Diaz (La Finca-Elche), María José San Román (Monastrell-Alicante), Cristina Figueira (El Xato- La Nucía), Jose Manuel Miguel (Beat- Calp) and Ferdinando Bernardi (Orobianco-Calp), among others.
