The City Council will once again launch a new edition of this campaing with discounts to encourage purchases in local businesses

Benidorm prepares the basis for a new consumer voucher campaign and more aid to families and homes

Benidorm prepara las bases de una nueva campaña de bonos consumo y más ayudas a familias y hogares

Benidorm City Council is already working on preparing the bases for a new edition of  #BenidormTeDaMás consumer vouchers, aimed at encouraging purchases in local businesses with discounts for registered citizens. This was announced by the mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, who also pointed out that the City Council is also going to launch “new lines of aid to families and homes, especially those who are in a more vulnerable situation.”

Toni Pérez recalled that the Benidorm City Council was “a pioneer in developing this initiative, in December 2021, when we were still in the middle of the pandemic and at a time when it was necessary to generate economic activity and help families.” Likewise, he highlighted that the formula adopted "demonstrated its effectiveness in achieving this double objective and that is why not only have we continued to repeat it since then on up to three more occasions, but it has also been replicated in many places, although with some differences."

In this sense, the first mayor stated, "Although the conditions have changed compared to those we had when this aid was first launched, we believe that this initiative can continue to contribute a lot to our neighbours and our companies." For this reason, he has stated that the local government's objective is to carry out this new edition of # BenidormTeDaMás “to continue reactivating the economy and helping residents reduce their shopping basket.”

Once the basis of this new campaign promoted by the City Council, Benidorm will join the campaign announced today by the Provincial Council of Alicante, which will be endowed with 20 million euros, to collaborate with the municipalities in these actions to promote consumption in the local economic fabric.

The mayor has announced that, in addition to this fifth edition of the #BenidormTeDaMás consumer vouchers, the City Council will launch new lines of aid for families and households, with which they can meet "the most basic needs such as the purchase of food, items of hygiene or the payment of energy supplies, gas or electricity". Toni Pérez has stressed that, with these actions, “we stand alongside our neighbours and companies and manage initiatives that benefit the city as a whole. together, as it cannot be otherwise.”
