Benidorm outlines the health and security device for Iberia Festival
Benidorm City Council has celebrated today the coordination meeting in which the health and security device for the sixth edition of Iberia Festival, which takes place this Friday and Saturday in Julio Iglesias auditorium of l'Aigüera park, has been outlined. The councilors of Citizen Security and Events, Lorenzo Martínez and José Ramón González de Zárate participated in the meeting; experts from both areas; responsible for the Local Police, National Police and Civil Protection; as well as representatives of the festival's promoter company.
The health device consists of a healthcare point and an ambulance; while the security is composed of a security chief, seven guards, 16 assistants and SEA personnel-access control. In addition, outside the enclosure there will be presence of local police, National Police and Civil Protection.
The opening of doors on Friday the 12th will be at 5:30 p.m., and at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. Both days, the performances will begin 30 minutes after the opening of doors and will continue until 03.30 hours.
On Friday, the groups of Tequila, Café Quijano, Jaime Urritia, OBK, Badlands and The Fly will pass through Julio Iglesias stage. On Saturday, it will be the turn of Coque Malla, Danza Invisible, Iberia Sumergida and Perdiendo los Papeles. The highlight of the day will be the return to the scene of Golpes Bajos in tribute to German Copini in which artists of the level of Iván Ferreiro, Sole Giménez, Javier Ojeda, Pepe Begines, Mercedes Ferrer and Nacho Campillo will take part.
As a novelty, this year the organization has planned complementary activities that will start both days at 12.00 in the vicinity of the Julio Iglesias auditorium. These 'prefiestas' will be held until 5:00 pm, will be free entry and will offer attendees performances, foodtrucks, bars and inflatables.
