Benidorm organizes an Easter School to facilitate work-life balance during the school holidays

Benidorm will host a new edition of the "Easter School" this year to facilitate work-life balance during the Easter school holidays. This was announced this Thursday by the Councilor for Education, Maite Moreno, who explained that this school, promoted by the Federation of Parent-Teacher Associations (AMPAs), FAMPA Marina Baixa, in collaboration with Benidorm City Council, will take place on April 17, 22, 23, 24, 25, and 28.

This year, the school chosen to launch this service is El Murtal public nursery and primary school, located in Poniente area, at 31 Avenida del Alcalde Vicente Pérez Devesa. Maite Moreno explained that "with this service, we give families who work during these holidays the option of having their children, ages 3 to 12, spend the mornings participating in all kinds of leisure activities, led by professionals and with other students of the same age." The councilor also explained that "to facilitate this work-life balance as much as possible, the 'Easter School' will have extended start and finish times, so that each family can adapt the service to their needs." Specifically, the school's hours will be from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., although the 'morning' option will be available from 8 a.m. and the lunch service with homemade lunches from 2 p.m. to 3 p.m. In both cases, this extended school schedule is included in the general price of the school, Maite Moreno explained.

The councillor also noted that this holiday school will also have places for children with specific needs, in which case "we recommend that parents indicate their children's needs when registering to make their stay more comfortable, enjoyable, and pleasant."

The price of the "Easter School" is 60 euros for members of the Parents' Association (AMPA) and 75 euros for non-members. Registration is now open and will run until April 9.
