Benidorm obtains 10 new SICTED quality distinctions and renews 31
Benidorm destination already has 64 distinguished companies
SICTED Awards Committee has awarded Benidorm ten new emblems and the renewal of 31 of them in its last session. SICTED is a project to improve the quality of tourist destinations promoted by the Secretary of State for Tourism with the support of the Spanish Federation of Municipalities and Provinces (FEMP) with the aim of improving the experience and satisfaction of tourists in tourist destinations Spanish people
Candidates for this distinction were submitted to the last committee in June by 491 services from 32 tourist destinations. Benidorm already had 54 distinguished companies and after the session added ten new ones.
The committee analyzes the fulfillment of the commitments contracted for the tourist services provided by the adhered companies, determining whether or not they are exceeded. If so, they go on to obtain either the Distinction of Tourism Quality or the 'Prepared Covid-19' seal.
The mayor, Toni Pérez, highlighted "the effort and commitment of Benidorm companies to adapt to the Benidorm DTI + Seguro protocols and roadmap under the premise that we all do Benidorm".
The distinguished establishments in this process have passed the external evaluation that guarantees strict compliance with all the requirements contemplated in the SICTED Covid-19 Advanced Good Practices manual to offer customers and users of the same a more controlled and secure service.
