After attending Fitur and the Holiday World Show in Dublin, Visit Benidorm Foundation continues to work on the promotion of the city and for this reason this week participates for the first time in two new events such as the Rome Travel Show and the Golf Messe in Zurich .

Regarding the Rome Travel Show, it is the first edition of this fair and it is celebrated in the Italian capital from January 31 to February 2.

Benidorm participates with Turespaña in this event aimed at the final public and in which the benefits of the capital of the Costa Blanca will be announced in order to enhance the excellent air connectivity between Central and North of Italy with Alicante ,

As for the Golfmesse fair, it takes place in the Swiss town of Zurich, from February 30 to 2 and in parallel to the generic FESPO fair that takes place in the same fairground but in different pavilions.

Switzerland has about a hundred fields in its territory, about 89,000 federated players and about 130,000 practitioners of this sport, many of whom attend this fair annually, exceeding the figure of 10,800 visitors in the last edition of 2019.

Golf helps the seasonally adjusted and the tourist who travels to practice this activity has an average expenditure above the average, making it one of the strategic products for Benidorm. The capital of the Costa Blanca offers two 18-hole golf courses designed by Jack Nicklaus in addition to a Pitch & Put for those who want to take their first steps in this sport.

With the participation in both fairs, Benidorm intends to continue positioning its offer both vacation and golf in two markets with high growth potential and that increasingly show more interest in our area.
