Benidorm Local Police is already immersed in the activities organized to commemorate its 180th anniversary, which will be celebrated next Saturday, March 2. Until that day, numerous activities will be held that began last Saturday, February 17 and will finish two weeks later.
Thus, to begin this calendar, on Saturday the 17th a petanque activity took place at Foietes Petanque Club, which was followed by a blood donation last Tuesday at the Local Police checkpoint on Grecia Street. The next scheduled activity was held today and consisted of a day on First Aid on Mountains, given by María José Carrillo, president of the National SOS Mountain Association and specialist in medical transport by helicopter and mountain medicine.
The event took place in the City Hall Assembly Hall and was inaugurated by the Councilor for Citizen Security, Jesús Carrobles, who congratulated the organizers "for the excellent work done" and wished them "that this day will be of use to you." your performance.” The conference was organized by the Sociocultural Association of Benidorm Local Police, chaired by Rafael Urbano, and the chief of the Local Police Luis Arévalo was also present.
Tomorrow, Friday, a paddle tennis tournament will be organized at Palau d'Esports, and an MTB, and road cycling ride, both starting at ten in the morning. On Saturday the 24th the focus will be on hiking with a route from Casa de Dios to Polop and will end with a meal for the participants.
