Benidorm library network and the Red Cross launch a campaign to collect school supplies
Benidorm library network has launched a campaign to collect school supplies, together with the Red Cross, for another year, which will last until September 16. In this edition, the validity period of this solidarity action has been extended to facilitate collaboration.
The collection of the material will be carried out at the Central Library. Mainly are required pencils, erasers, pens, sharpeners, coloured pencils, markers, rulers, lined and grid notebooks, backpacks, pencil cases, white sheets of paper, glue, scissors, compass, A4 size folders, coloured crayons and plastic covers.
People participating in this solidarity action will receive a surprise book as a gift.
The Councilor for Historical and Cultural Heritage, Ana Pellicer, indicated that " this campaign aims to collect school supplies that will be distributed among families in vulnerable situations for the start of the school year, thus making it easier to start the school year.”
The councillor stressed that "every year the users of the Central Library devote themselves to the collection campaigns, and we are sure that they will do so once again."
