Benidorm joins the new agreement of Turisme Comunitat Valenciana ‘Tourist Info’ network
Benidorm City Council will approve the adhesion to the new collaboration agreement with Turisme Comunitat Valenciana for the development of the Tourist Info Network, whose objective is the continuous improvement of products and the attention given to tourists to increase their degree of satisfaction, as well as optimizing the management of the tourist experience, communication and the dissemination of our tourist products. The document, which will be issued in an informative commission, will be approved in the next plenary session.
The first collaboration agreement was signed in April 2009 between both entities, so that Benidorm tourist information offices were integrated into the Tourist Info network of the Valencian Community. The two parties expressed their willingness to strengthen their collaboration to improve the tourist information services offered in the municipality.
With this agreement, both parties agree to collaborate in the development of 'Xarxa Tourist Info Program' and to cooperate in the operation and full operation of the offices (Benidorm Centro, Benidorm Rincón de Loix and Benidorm Europa) included into the network . The purpose of the program is "to offer a wide information service on the tourist offer of the city of Benidorm, as well as on all the tourist products of the Valencian Community", as indicated in the agreement.
Turisme Comunitat Valenciana undertakes to provide the offices with the appropriate technologies for the effective development of tourist databases, effective access to the Turisme Comunitat Valenciana information systems and the training of technical and informant staff, among other aspects.
For its part, the City Council acquires as commitments, among others, the financial and material support of the offices, as well as facing all current expenses and the personnel necessary for the proper functioning of the offices. It will also seek quality in the provision of services with flexible customer service hours adapted to that established by the whole of the Valencian Community Tourist Info Network.
The image of the offices will be in accordance with the rest of the network, as well as collaboration in the maintenance of tourist information systems such as databases of the Tourist Info Network, tourist portal and tourist social networks of the Valencian Community.
The agreement also establishes the creation of a monitoring commission that will supervise its execution, inform the parties of any incidents that may occur during the execution of the agreement, and issue a final report on the degree of compliance with the objectives set forth in the document, which will have an expected duration of four years.
