Benidorm incorporates 12 new interim agents to the Local Police
Benidorm has today incorporated 12 new temporary agents to its Local Police who will be incorporated, in principle, to the surveillance of the promenades and sandbanks during the summer.
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez, has presided over the inauguration ceremony in which the councillors for Citizen Security and Human Resources, Lorenzo Martínez and Ángela Zaragozí, have also been present; together with the chief commissioner of the Local Police, Juan Fuertes.
The first mayor has congratulated the new public servants and has asked them for "efficiency" in the performance of their work and in the "friendly treatment of the citizen" that has characterized "during its many years of history" the Local Police of Benidorm. Pérez has stressed that, on many occasions, they will be “those who welcome” the people who choose the city to spend their holidays.
The 12 new agents come from the temporary employment pool of the Local Police. They will remain in their positions for a maximum period of three years, or until the positions they occupy are filled after the mandatory selection process.
