Benidorm inaugurates an exhibition at the Espai d'Art on the figure of the economist and humanist from Alicante Germán Bernácer

The Espai d'Art of Benidorm City Council hosts from today until April 8 an exhibition on the economist and humanist Germán Bernácer whose purpose is to bring the figure of this illustrious character closer so that he can be recognized in the province of Alicante.
The exhibition, organized by the Germán Bernácer Chair of the University of Alicante, Germán Bernácer Economic Debate Forum and the Mediterranean Foundation, has been presented this morning by Mayor Toni Pérez, who was accompanied by the Councilor for Culture, Jaime Jesús Pérez and María Henar Ruiz Conde (University of Alicante) and Vicente Nogueroles (Economic Debate Forum).
Toni Pérez has highlighted the figure of Germán Bernácer as "a pioneer of economic science in Spain" and has stated that the exhibition aims to "disseminate the personal and human profile" of the author. An exhibition that began at the University of Alicante at the end of last year and that after Benidorm it will be exhibited at the Bank of Spain.
This exhibition consists of ten panels that allow the visitor to delve into Bernácer's work and life, as explained by María Henar Ruiz. The mayor, for his part, has encouraged people to participate and meet him because he was a man who is worth knowing and putting in value".
The exhibition will have a complementary activity tomorrow in the Assembly Hall of the City Council, a debate table under the title 'Perspectives for tourism in 2022. Perfect storm?', organized by Germán Bernácer Economic Debate Forum. Its spokesperson, the lawyer Vicente Nogueroles, has indicated that it is about "generating discussion and reflection and sending a message of optimism because I think we will get out of this situation, as we have done before."
