The Department of Beaches has improved the access and health care and lifeguard position of Mal Pas beach. The councillor of the acting area, Lorenzo Martinez, explained that "users can already enjoy the improvements made in this landmark of the city", and that have consisted of "the modification of the rescue and lifeguard booth, which now has more space to attend to any need or emergency that may arise "; as well as "the improvement of access areas with the installation of new wooden footbridges, and the relocation and updating of three points of footbaths".
Martínez pointed out that "these improvements have involved an investment of 8,500 euros", and respond to the "commitment of the government team to constantly improve the accessibility and services of our beaches."
