Benidorm hosts a conference on the ‘Victims of squatting’
Benidorm Cultural Centre will host a conference on Friday, November 28th, entitled "Victims of Squatting." The conference will address issues such as the differences between trespassing, squatting, and occupation, as well as how to respond to squatting and relevant legislation.
The conference will begin at 6:30 p.m. with a talk titled "Breakthrough and Squatting" by Judge Alberto Moral Prieto of Criminal Court No. 9 in Valencia. This will be followed by a presentation on "How to Act in Cases of Squatting," given by José Carlos Amorós San José, Chief Commissioner of the Benidorm Local Police.
Also participating in the conference will be the Mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the Regional Minister of Justice and Public Administration, Nuria Martínez Sanchís; the Regional Secretary for Housing, Sebastián Fernández Miralles; and the Secretary General of the Valencian Federation of Municipalities and Provinces, Miguel Bailach Luengo. Admission is free for all who wish to attend.
