Benidorm has installed identification plaques on Nicaragua Avenue and adjacent streets

These plaques have been "claimed" from Avana neighborhood association through the Neighborhood Council, has stated the councillor Gema Amor. A "commitment" of the government team that the President of the neighbohood, José Antonio Corachán, has thanked and has appreciated the Town Hall for the creation of a Neighborhood Council as a vehicle to solve problems affecting the residents. The Urban Scene Councillor has stressed that such actions are "those that deserve our neighbors" and a "duty and responsibility" of political leaders.
Navarro has said that actions such as these, of sign streets, "are very important, all the streets in Benidorm must have their names." The mayor has also admited that the implementation of the Neighborhood Council "is allowing the City Council and neighbors work together to make improvements in all neighborhoods."
Amor has revealed that in addition to this action in the area of Nicaragua Avenue, the City Council has already ordered new street signs for the school area Salto del Agua.
The responsible person for Urban Scene has also recalled the last of the performances of the Town Hall in this matter, with the placement of plaques in twenty four streets of the Old Town area, which now have a new look after installing 34 street signs made of ceramic and baked by a local businessman from Benidorm.
Besides, the delegation has visited a site, located on Nicaragua Avenue, which has recently been fenced to prevent falls. Inside the site, other improvements will be undertaken to enable its conversion into a recreational area, including petanque.
