From February 24 to March 4, 20 establishments will offer special tasting menus for only 20 euros
Benidorm Gastronómico 2018 opens its doors with the VII Days of the Spoon
The mayor of Benidorm, Toni Pérez; the president of Abreca-Cobreca (Association of Bars, Restaurants and Cafeterias), Javier del Castillo; and the godfather of Benidorm Gastronómico 2018, Antonio Barco; have presented this morning in the municipal building El Torrejó the VII Days of the Spoon that will begin next weekend.
Toni Pérez, wanted to highlight the "boost" given by Abreca-Cobreca in the consolidation of Benidorm Gastronómico with this new edition of the Days of the Spoon. A "proposal - said the mayor - that puts in value what makes us unique and different". They will be a few days that will be able to enjoy neighbors and visitors "thanks to the daily work of our restaurateurs" who know how to find "the best flavors and the highest quality at a balanced price, affordable to all budgets".
For his part, Javier del Castillo thanked the support received by the City through the Department of Tourism and the Visit Benidorm Foundation, "without which Benidorm Gastronómico would not be possible" and has influenced that distributed restaurants will collaborate throughout the city, "from Rincon de Loix to La Cala, passing through Foietes so that people can enjoy" the best local gastronomy.
The VII Days of the Spoon will take place from February 24 to March 4. They participate in a total of 20 establishments in the city that offer tasting menus at a single price of 20 euros. In the 2018 call participate Arrocería La Marina, Belvedere, Bolikki, Cervecería Angelillo, Condal, El Barranco, The Yantar de Asturies, Sturgeon, Mediterranean Garden, The Old Sidrería, La Bodeguita de Salva, Brasería Aurrera, La Cava Aragonesa, La Tapería Aurrera, Mal Pas Brewery, Margem Resto Bar, El Puerto, Son de Mar, Taberna Andaluza and Terra Atlantica.
Benidorm Gastronómico will continue later with the I Benidorm Gourmet, from May 12 to 20; the III Gastronomic Fair, on May 15; the VIII Tapas and Pinchos Contest, from June 16 to 24; and finalize with the VII Days of the Rice of the Earth, from 20 to 28 October.
