Benidorm finalizes the special device on the occasion of the celebration of the Boombastic Festival from Thursday

The Plenary Hall of Benidorm City Council has hosted today at noon the meeting in which the coordination of the special device prepared for the celebration on Thursday, Friday and Saturday of Boombastic Festival at Ciudad Deportiva Guillermo Amor has been finalized.
Representatives of the Departments of Events and Public Service were present at the meeting, with councillors Jesús Carrobles and Lorenzo Martínez at the head, Local Police, National Police, Civil Protection, Firefighters and the promoter company Boombenidorm AIE.
According to the promoter company, the expected capacity will be around 20,000 people per day, so both the Local Police and the National Police "have prepared an adequate security device proportional to the capacity of the event," according to Councilor Lorenzo Martínez. In this sense, the National Police Corps will have troops from the UIP and the UPR. Benidorm Local Police will provide agents and commanders and Civil Protection has established two shifts.
The opening of doors will take place on the three days of the festival at 5:00 p.m. and the closing will take place at two in the morning on Thursday and one hour later on Friday and Saturday. The Boombastic will have three scenarios and eight evacuation exits. The organization has also hired a company that will provide 24 security guards, 82 assistants and six members of the specific Admission Service.
Regarding the medical staff, there will be two ICU Advanced Life Support ambulances, one Basic Life Support ambulance, two doctors, four nurses, four health specialist technicians and two lifeguards for the VIP Area.
At today's meeting it was also agreed to clear the lower tray of the Mercasa car park for security reasons, which must be clear of vehicles from 10:00 p.m. tomorrow, Wednesday, until 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, August 21.
On the other hand, to avoid overcrowding in the validation of tickets, the organizing company will have a before the validation tickets tomorrow, Wednesday from 5:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at Plaza de SS MM Los Reyes de España, just as it was done with previous events such as the Reggaeton Beach Festival or the Low Festival.
Finally, the swimming pool of Ciudad Deportiva 'Guillermo Amor' will resume its activity on Tuesday 23rd, once the event is over. The Councilor for Sports, Mariló Cebreros, has indicated that “the dismantling of the event has been completed and once the analyzes carried out by the Municipal Laboratory certify the quality of the water, the pool will reopen its doors, operating from that moment on in its schedule as usual".
