ICTE rewards the RH hotel chain in Benidorm
Benidorm DTI renews its Q for quality
Three years after becoming the first certified Smart Tourist Destination (DTI) in the world, Benidorm has renewed the Q Quality Mark granted by the Institute for Spanish Tourist Quality (ICTE). The mayor, Toni Pérez, received this recognition yesterday during the Q Night organized by ICTE at Palacio de Cristal de Cibeles and which was attended by the Minister of Tourism, Reyes Maroto.
Toni Pérez explained that "with this renewal, ICTE certifies that Benidorm not only continues to meet the demanding quality standards governed by UNE UNE 178501 standard for Smart Tourist Destinations, having passed the audits, but has also advanced in the indicators and marked achievements. The mayor thanked "the involvement of the DTI Management Body, Visit Benidorm and the staff of the different municipal departments to gradually achieve these objectives and strengthen Benidorm as a world benchmark in tourism intelligence".
But in addition to this recognition of the city, Benidorm was also present last night at the Q Night by the RH hotel chain, which received the Q Award for its commitment to quality.
Benidorm Central Tourism Office and the Hosbec hotel association also obtained a Q recognition from Caldiad.
