Benidorm diffuses its gastronomy as a tourist claim with videos of its most traditional recipes
The series of five videos, recorded in the kitchens of Invattur, will be broadcast by social networks
Benidorm has bet on the potential of its gastronomy as a tourist attraction in its latest and innovative project, which under the label of 'fresh & tasty' combines new technologies and cuisine. Visit Benidorm Foundation has added to a growing trend in social networks, mainly on Facebook: the kitchen tutorial videos, which in just over a minute show how to easily and easily make tasty recipes.
In these videos the Foundation has chosen traditional recipes of Benidorm, passed down generations from parents to children, which form the basis of local cuisine and whose elaboration arouses the interest of both foreign residents and those who have tried these dishes in some of their stays in Benidorm.
The series, recorded in the kitchens of the Valencian Institute of Tourist Technologies (Invattur), is formed by five chapters. Carmen Martínez has collaborated for these videos, who in her blog 'Cocinando con C' devotes an integral section to Benidorm gastronomy.
Through these videos a triple objective is achieved: to get these traditional dishes not to be forgotten, to attract the segment of the public interested in gastronomy, and to make the so-called 'Millennial' generation fall in love with Benidorm this time for its flavor.
The first video, which shows how to make 'coca farida', can be seen from Friday in social networks.
